Meeting Agenda May 10, 2023

In attendance:
Jerry Salmon, Julie Vereschagin, Natalie Ball,

Hydee Edwards, Jasmine Olsen, Cheri Gilbert

Principal’s Business-

           - Staffing for 2023-2024

           - End of Year- Carnival June 14^th Bouncy houses, dunk tank

           - Swimming June 19^th

           - Changes to year-end orientation

           - School fees next year- remain the same allotting funds for two field trips.

Teacher Appreciation- May 10^th

            -cover lunch recess supervision – current staff 78

            - snacks provided by School Council Memnbers.  Natalie motioned to spend $100 for fruit                       platter. Second by Cheri. All were in favor.

Spring Dance and Cake Auction-

            -Monday May, 29^th 6:30-8:30

            - Big volunteer night

            - Asked to bring at least two prizes (children or adult)

            -Cakes in gym (two per class) Natalie to make up flyer for those wanting to make cakes

            - Need tables set up in gym

            - Julie Vereschagin is the DJ!

            - Water & Cookies for treats

ASCA Conference Review

           - Resolutions

           - Lunch Box

           - Edge Imaging- not impressed with current school photos. Available for fundraising options                 (siblings/family pictures

           - JUMPmath –lines up with new curriculum every grade

           - Social Emotional Agendas ( icky girl company)

           - Money & Youth- financial maturity

           - Keynote Speaker Dr. Debbie Pushor- From school-centric to family centric.

                     - “Touch one child’s life for 10 months or a family forever.”

                     - You remember the feelings and connections made

                     - Empowering parents
