RES Council Meeting Minutes

Feb 12, 2020

In attendance: Natalie Ball, Kira Earl, Cheri Gilbert, Amy Baker, Jacquie Fleming, Connie Shurtz 

• EAs who retired early due to cuts will be recognized at the year end BBQ in -June

• Who will attend the ASCA conference? Natalie and Kira said that they are both available to attend

• April 8 & 9 is the Bike Rodeo put on by the RCMP will need volunteers for it

• Casino will be happening this year as the schools main fundraiser

• One school one book will not be happening but there will be other events in it’s place

• Most of the Discussion was on ASCA resolutions:
  Mostly in favor of them except:
  P20-02 we are not in favor of 50% diploma exams but more like 30% (I think the resolution wants it at 30%)
  P20-04 needs more clarification
