April 9, 2025

Principal’s Business

Optimal Learning Environment:

• Assessments

Spaghetti Autism Dinner Fundraiser - April 14th, 4-7pm

• Just need help with clean up

Other Business

• Parking - Will be adding four 15 minute parking spots outside the front doors of the school
• ASCA Conference (virtual) - April 26th-27th.  It cannot be recorded, the Saturday link will be sent to whoever wants it.  All can attend.  The link for Sunday is only available for council members and will only be sent upon request. Contact Hydee for the link.
• No spring event. Back to school is going to be a bigger event because students will not know who their teacher is before the end of this school year as has been done in the past.  Due to move-ins and other such changes the class list will not be made until August and sent through powerschool sometime in the week before school starts.
• AGM June 11th @ 8pm
• Suggestion was made to have the school send out a text message letting parents know when a school council meeting is coming up.
